J & M Foods NZ was founded with humble beginnings by Joel Montarde as a BBQ caravan food stall in Auckland, New Zealand in 1993, with his wife Mina. The foundations of the business was based on Joel’s passion for serving tasty food, serving his community and a determination to succeed through perseverance and work ethic.30 years on, he is now the business owner of a thriving butchery/meat shop and BBQ caravan, operating at some of Auckland’s popular flea markets (Otara & St John’s) with a solid customer base. Joel has diversified over the years and now also offers made to order Longanisa and Tocino, and is a wholesaler to various outlets across New Zealand.
