Our small factory in Nelson is dedicated to traditional techniques, allowing us to create small batches that truly reflect the natural flavors of cacao. Each step—from sorting and roasting to grinding and molding—is done by hand, ensuring quality and care in every bite. We believe in minimal ingredients, preserving the authentic taste that mass production often overlooks. Partnering with Ana Aceves of Sugarcube Studios, we’ve designed a unique chocolate bar that tells the story of Karl’s journey from sailor to chocolate maker and the remarkable voyage of cacao to our shores.
